The Western Tatras are mountains in the Tatras, part of the Carpathian Mountains, located on the Polish-Slovak borders.
The mountains border the High Tatras in the east. In the main summit of the range, almost 35 kilometers long, there is a multitude of beautiful peaks that can be seen from 2000 feet above the see level.
The highest peak is Bystra at 2,248 meters in Slovakia.All the pictures below were taken by Michal Cerven.
